Finding the right school is about more than just academics—it’s about finding your people.
At The Whitestone Academy, we believe education should be deeply personal. That’s why we don’t just teach students—we welcome them into a family. A place where who you are matters just as much as what you want to become.
From your very first day, you’ll be seen and valued—not just as a student, but as a person with your own story, strengths, and dreams. Our small, tight-knit community means every student is known by name, every voice is heard, and every success is celebrated—whether your path leads to college, the military, trade school, or a meaningful job right after graduation.
Here, learning goes beyond textbooks. We help students discover their voice, take ownership of their journey, and feel confident asking for help when needed. Our faculty and staff walk alongside each student, not just as educators, but as mentors and trusted allies.
We’re proud to be a global school—rich in diversity of cultures, perspectives, and life experiences. That diversity is our strength, and it makes our Whitestone community vibrant, dynamic, and truly special. With each new student who joins us, our family grows stronger.
If you’re looking for a school where you’ll be encouraged to take risks, be yourself, and grow in a community that feels like home—then I believe you’ll feel right at home at Whitestone Academy.
I can’t wait to meet you and support you as you explore what’s possible here!
Warmly,
Francis Ottaviano, Principal
It is with extreme heartbreak and pain that I inform the Whitestone Academy family that my dear mother and the founder of the school passed away this Sunday. Mrs. O, as she was called, started the school over 40 years ago. She wanted a place for all students to feel at home. Her simple philosophy was that every student was her child and anything that child needed she would supply. Whether it was money for lunch, a place to feel safe, or a place where someone that was a little different felt secure, she could–and would–provide it for them. No students’ concerns were too big or too small. Everyone was treated with tender loving care and a little bit of discipline. I know that through the Whitestone Academy she touched the hearts of thousands of people. Her work at school and her memory will never be forgotten. I cannot begin to tell you how many people still come by, or stop me on the street, and tell me stories of how Mrs. O helped them or gave them the chance that they so desperately needed. These are the current doctors, lawyers, firemen, police, and people in every aspect of society that help us all. They never would be where they are today without the help and kindness of Mrs. O.
We would love to have our prospective students visit our private school which includes middle and high school as well as ESL High School Courses.
